Whilst my main Practice is based in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, I offer Psychometric Assessments in Knysna, Western Cape and surrounds. ​

For Western Cape Assessments, the process will be as follows:

Intake interviews will be done telephonically

Assessment sessions will be conducted on either Wednesdays, Weekends, or during school holidays. Dates will be determined based on availability.

Assessments will be conducted at my second office in Paradise, Knysna, or can be conducted directly at schools for children and adolescents - depending on confirmation from the school.

Reports will be sent via email and feedback sessions will be conducted telephonically.
Scholastic Assessments | Knysna, Western Cape
A full scholastic assessment consists of a variety of assessments that can determine the cause of a child or adolescent's underperformance at school or difficulty in certain academic areas. This pinpoints the specific areas that are acting as barriers to learning and allows for proper interventions or strategies that can best assist your child and allow them to perform to the best of their ability. Assesses areas such as cognitive ability (IQ), visual-motor integration, auditory and visual memory, reading speed, phonological processing, reading, spelling and mathematical ability, reading comprehension, writing speed and processing speed.
Special-School-Placement Assessment | Knysna, Western Cape
Determines if your child will benefit from learning in a modified environment that will be conducive for their growth, and where their unique learning needs will be properly catered to. Includes a full IQ assessment along with numerous other tests. These can further determine if a specific learning disability may be present.

ADHD Screening | Knysna, Western Cape
A screening assessment for children, teenagers and adults to determine whether an individual may have ADHD and how severe the symptoms are.
Exam Concession Assessment| Knysna, Western Cape
Determines whether your child requires concessions or accommodations for tests and exams and, what type of accommodation would best suit them. For example, extra time, readers and scribes.
Cognitive Ability (IQ) Assessment | Knysna, Western Cape
A full and comprehensive assessment that obtains a picture of both verbal and non verbal cognitive abilities/intellectual functioning. This determines the level of general intelligence, for instance to predict scholastic achievement. Evaluates strengths and weaknesses over a wide range of cognitive areas, provides IQ scores, allows for appropriate intervention decisions and can identify gifted children in terms of their overall intelligence potential.
